Obituary: Lesley Gene Lance

A memorial service for Lesley Gene Lance, 43, a Carson City resident for the past eight years, was held Friday at FitzHenry's Funeral Home.

Mr. Lance died June 12, 2000, in Carson City. He was born May 6, 1957, in Eureka, Calif., to Gordon Avey and Christine Lessie Fox Lance.

Before moving to Carson City, he lived in Lancaster, Calif.

Mr. Lance was a car salesman. He loved the outdoors, especially fishing and camping.

He was preceded in death by his father; identical twin brother Wesley and brother Arnold David.

Among his survivors are his mother Christine of Carson City; brothers Daniel Nogales of Nampa, Idaho, and Guy Lance of Yerington; sisters Sharon Thurman of Carson City and Barbara Fincher of Norwalk, Calif., and many nieces and nephews.

Fitzhenry's Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
