A memorial for Mary Ellen Rabe, 78, a former Carson City resident, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the First United Methodist Church in Carson City.
Mrs. Rabe died June 22, 2000 in Mesa, Ariz., where she lived the past 25 years. She was born May 9, 1922 in Fresno, Calif., to George Ramage and Veronica Ramage.
She married Victor Rabe on April 12, 1947 in Carson City, who preceded her in death Nov. 14, 1991 in Mesa. Prior to living in Mesa, Mrs. Rabe resided in Carson City.
Among her survivors are her daughters Vickie Army of Tucson, Ariz. and Elaine Rabe and Susan Deck of Mesa; brother Robert Reynolds of Altadena, Calif., one grandson and several nieces and nephews.
Cremation was at Wyman's in Mesa.
The family requests donations be made to the Nevada Diabetes Association at 1090 South Rock Blvd. Reno, NV 89502.
