Obituary: Michael James Kelly

A celebration of life for Michael James Kelly, 58, a Dayton resident for the past five years and former Carson City resident for two years, will be at noon Saturday at the family residence, 133 River Village Circle, Dayton.

Mr. Kelly died April 25, 2000, at Carson-Tahoe Hospital. He was born May 5, 1941, in Sacramento, Calif., to James Clarence and Lorraine Rita O'Loughlin Kelly.

He married Deanna Richardson March 14, 1998, in Virginia City.

Before moving to this area, he lived in California.

Mr. Kelly was a shipping clerk. He was loved and will truly be missed by all his family and friends.

He was a Catholic.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Among his survivors are his wife DeeDee of Dayton; sons Greg of Carson City, Mike II of Roseville, Calif., and Josh Essman and Brandon Essman, both of Dayton; daughters Kathy Kelly of Reno, Pat Rios of Carson City and Jenni Essman of Dayton; brother Colin of Dayton and six grandchildren.

Cremation will be at Walton's Carson Sierra Crematory.

Capitol City Cremation & Burial Society is in charge of arrangements.
