The local chapter of the Mule Deer Foundation (MDF), in cooperation with the Nevada Division of Wildlife, will be harvesting bitterbrush seed on July 8-9 in Jack's Valley.
The MDF is requesting volunteers to help with that seed harvest.
Anyone interested in participating is requested to meet at the Jack's Valley Elementary School at 9 a.m. on Saturday.
There will be a free barbecue on Saturday evening for all of the workers.
