The Storey County commissioners will consider Tuesday retaining Carson City lawyer Patrick Fagan as a special legal counsel for the county and the new Tahoe/Reno Industrial General Improvement District.

Developers of the Tahoe/Reno Industrial Park have proposed to pay for Fagan's services for the county and the district.

The district was formed at the last commission meeting to provide for improvements such as streets and utilities for the industrial park, which occupies the former Asamera Ranch and spans the Storey/Lyon county line.

The Storey County Commission meeting will be at 10 a.m. in the Storey County Courthouse district courtroom.

Other items on the agenda include:

-- Discussion between the commissioners and county staffers and representatives of the industrial park.

-- Discussion and possible action on possibly increasing the number of county commissioners from three to five.

-- A survey of the old water flume line.

-- Replacement of the 1997 sexual harassment policy with an illegal-harassment policy dated Feb. 2, 2000.

-- The River District senior citizen hot lunch program.

-- Horses on the O Street right of way.

-- Ambulance service subscriptions.

-- Delinquent property taxes.

-- Actions of the Jan. 20 planning commission meeting.
