Tree trimmers working for Sierra Pacific Power Co. will be cutting branches along the following streets in Carson City during the next several days: Washington, Pyrenees, Alpine, Bath, Adaline, West Long, Ivy, Mountain, West Adams, West Park, West John, West William, West Sophia, West Ann, Saratoga Way, Richmond Avenue, West Sunset Way, Tahoe Drive and Fleischmann Way.
Sierra Pacific trims trees near power lines on a regular basis throughout the company's Northern Nevada service area to prevent electrical outages and eliminate safety hazards, said Terry Saunders, line clearance administrator for Sierra Pacific.
