The following arrests were made by the Carson City Sheriff's Department:


-- A 46-year-old unemployed transient was taken into civil protective custody at 2:30 p.m. Saturday on South Carson Street.


-- A 36-year-old driver from California was arrested at 8:40 a.m. Saturday at North Carson and Corbett streets for suspicion of misdemeanor driving on a suspended license and no registration in vehicle. His bail was set at $640.


-- Steven Johnson, 41, a heavy equipment operator from Carson City was arrested at 3:15 p.m. Saturday in the 2700 block of Lovelace for suspicion of felony probation violation and misdemeanor destruction of property. No bail was set.


-- A 34-year-old teacher from Carson City was arrested at 7:51 p.m. in the 2100 block of Joshua Lane on Saturday for suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery. Her bail was set at $3,105.


-- A 38-year-old lineman from Gardnerville was arrested at 9:57 p.m. Saturday at Carson and Seventh streets for suspicion of misdemeanor failure to appear. His bail was set at $195 cash only.


-- A 20-year-old machine operator from Carson City was arrested at 9:42 p.m. Saturday at Highway 50 East and Stewart Street for suspicion of the following misdemeanors: no rear license plate light, no valid driver's license, obstructing and broken windshield. His bail was set at $605.


-- A 19-year-old construction worker from Carson City was arrested at 10:59 p.m. Saturday in the 100 block of West Telegraph Street for suspicion of misdemeanor minor consuming alcohol and destruction of property. His bail was set at $815.
