Adele D. McCloud, 84, a Carson City resident for the past two years, died Sept. 10, 2001, at Carson Convalescent Center. She was born April 19, 1917, in San Francisco to Hjalmar and Catherine Hamalainen Carlson.
She graduated from high school with Jack LaLane.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Sonoma, Calif.
Mrs. McCloud was an excellent seamstress. She was a 50-year member of the Finnish Brotherhood in Berkley, Calif., and was active in the Lions Club in Cobb, Calif.
She was preceded in death by her husband George in 1994 and brother Ralph.
Among her survivors are her daughter Jane Crafton of Carson City; stepdaughter Sally Ward of Oroville, Calif.; four grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
No service will be held.
FitzHenry's Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
