Andrea Lynn Adamson, 34, a Carson City resident for the past 20 years, died Sept. 21, 2001, in Carson City. She was born May 20, 1967, in Tillamook, Ore., to Mitchell K. Adamson.
She graduated from Carson High School in 1985.
Before moving to Carson City she lived in Idaho and Alaska.
Ms. Adamson worked in the communications industry. She sponsored a foster child, loved animals and was a member of the Humane Society. She also loved books and music. She was a Christian.
Among her survivors are her parents Mitchell K. and Marsha Adamson of Holden, Utah; brother Victor Adamson of Lompoc, Calif.; sisters Lisa Rudyk of Carson City and Wendy Pitts of Reno and several aunts, uncles and cousins in Carson City, Idaho and Oregon.
A memorial service will be held in October.

Capitol City Cremation & Burial Society is in charge of arrangements.
