Obituary: Theodore G. "Ted" Kidwell

A memorial service for Theodore G. "Ted" Kidwell, Sr., 65, a Carson City resident for the past 10 years, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley.

Mr. Kidwell died March 30, 2002, in Carson City. He was born Jan. 15, 1937, in St. Louis, Mo.

Mr. Kidwell was a U.S. Navy veteran of Korea. He was a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans and a member of the Capitol City Alano Club.

Mr. Kidwell was a well-established aerospace machinist for 36 years.

Among his survivors are his wife Deloris of Carson City; sons Kimbal R. of Woodland Hills, Calif., Kenneth of Tennessee and Theodore G. of Las Vegas; daughters Cynthia Mullen of Big Bear, Calif., and Karen Burkett of Reseda, Calif.; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandson.

Inurnment will be at the Northern Nevada Veterans' Memorial Cemetery in Fernley.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
