Haskel Swartz, 83, an 18-year resident of Carson City, died April 7, 2002, at Carson-Tahoe Hospital.
He was born July 8, 1918, in Rhode Island to Max and Rachel Freeman Swartz.
Mr. Swartz was a beloved father and husband.
Prior to moving to Carson City he lived in South Lake Tahoe and in Lakewood, Calif.
He was a dispatcher for Los Angeles County.
He is survived by his wife Jacqueline of Carson City; daughter and son-in-law Kurt and June Krumlauf of Corona, Calif.; and two grandchildren.
Memorial services will be scheduled at a later date.
Capitol City Cremation & Burial Society is in charge of arrangements.
