Obituary: Judith Lee Hartigan

Judith Lee Hartigan, 68, a Wellington resident for the past seven years, died April 13, 2002, in Wellington. She was born Oct. 23, 1933, in Toledo, Ohio, to Edward and Jean Schaible Stringfellow.

She graduated from Michigan State University in East Lansing, Mich., in 1955 with a bachelor of arts degree in television.

Before moving to Wellington, she lived in Pilot Hill, Calif.

Mrs. Hartigan was a secretary for MacManus, John and Adams Advertising Agency in Bloomfield, Mich., for three years. She worked many years in the advertising business. She enjoyed gardening, knitting, reading books and she loved her animals.

Among her survivors are her son John T. Jr. of Burbank, Calif., daughter Bridget Talty of Mesa, Ariz., and grandchild Dana Hartigan of Minnesota.

Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory.

FitzHenry's Carson Valley Funeral Home, Gardnerville, is in charge of arrangements.
