A service for Art Messer, 74, will be at noon May 11 at Walton's Chapel of the Valley.
Mr. Messer died April 25, 2002. He was born Oct. 25, 1927, in Hamilton, Ohio, to Oscar and Ethel Messer.
Mr. Messer retired from American Telephone and Telegraph in 1985. He enjoyed his family and playing keno.
Among his survivors are his wife Pearl; Art Messer Jr., Dave and Carolyn Messer and daughter Michelle Capp; grandchildren Bill Messer, Victor Messer, Brittany Messer and Christina Messer; sister-in-law Carol Powell and many other family members.
He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
