The following people were placed into custody at the Carson City jail. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.


-- Steven Jon Hipple, 34, of Minden, a carpenter, was arrested at 6 p.m. Thursday in the 600 block of Shoshone Drive on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance for sale, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana. Bail was set at $15,000.


-- Santiago Cossio, 21, of Carson City, unemployed, was arrested by Washoe Tribal Police at 4:30 p.m. Thursday in the 600 block of Shoshone Drive for the investigation of possession of methamphetamine with the intent to sell, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana. Bail was set at $15,000.


-- Daniel Lee Lovelace, 45, of Carson City, a technician, was arrested at 1:04 a.m. Friday at Highway 50 and Airport Road for the investigation of third-offense Driving Under the Influence, driving with a revoked license, unlawful acts of financial responsibility and a safety belt violation. Bail was set at $10,000.


-- A 30-year-old Carson City fast-food restaurant manager was arrested at 1:08 a.m. Friday at Fifth Street and Saliman Road for the investigation of misdemeanor possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and a warrant out of Carson City Justice Court for failure to appear. Bail was set at $2,615.


-- A 31-year-old South Lake Tahoe cook was arrested at 8:20 p.m. Thursday at Carson and Stewart streets for the investigation of DUI, a center turn lane violation, having an open container in her vehicle and driving without a valid license. Bail was set at $1,480.


Deputies responded to the following calls Thursday.


-- One commercial burglary report, resulting in a felony arrest.


-- One embezzlement report.


-- Two fraud reports.


-- One vehicle damage report.


-- One vehicle burglary report.


-- Two accident with injury reports.


-- One grand larceny report.


-- One hit-and-run accident report.


-- One residential burglary report.


-- One child molestation report.
