A memorial service for Anne Wennhold, 84, a Minden resident, will be at 1 p.m. Dec. 21, at the United Methodist Church in Gardnerville.
Mrs. Wennhold died Dec. 4, 2002, at Carson-Tahoe Hospital. She was born Feb. 2, 1918, in Germany. She came to the United States in 1952 and married rancher Harry Wennhold.
Mrs. Wennhold was active in supporting the Carson Valley Swim Center and she was a docent with the Carson Valley Historical Society.
She was preceded in death by her husband.
Among her survivors are: sons George and Hans Boeving of Gardnerville and Jon of Reno; brother George Ploeger of Spain; grandchildren Adam and Aaron Wennhold and Bob and Betty Ann Boeving and daughters-in-law Connie Wennhold and Barbara Boeving.
