Nine players scored for the Galena High boys basketball team in its 54-31 win over Faith Lutheran of Las Vegas in the Prep Holiday Classic.
Tommy Myers led the way with 16 points. The Grizzlies will have a tough test at 8 a.m. today when it plays Southern Section power Hart of the Los Angeles area.
"Definitely this will be a big challenge," Galena coach Tom Maurer said.
With a win, Galena would advance to the consolation title game later today.
