Carson City

The following were booked into Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty.

-- Danny Jay Maxfield, Jr., a transient, was arrested at 9:46 p.m. Thursday at Deer Run Road and Highway 50 East on suspicion of possessing a stolen vehicle following a traffic stop. Maxfield was also cited on suspicion of having no valid driver's license, no proof of insurance, failing to maintain a single traffic lane, possessing drug paraphernalia and failing to change his address as an ex-felon.

-- A 30-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 11:55 p.m. Thursday at the 1700 block of North Lompa Lane on suspicion of domestic battery after officers responded to the report of a domestic dispute at the home.

-- A 33-year-old Reno man was arrested at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at the Washoe County Jail and transported to Carson City Jail on an outstanding warrant for failing to pay a court fine.

-- A 28-year-old transient man was arrested at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at the Washoe County Jail and transported to the Carson City Jail on an outstanding warrant for failing to appear in court.

-- A 47-year-old Susanville man was arrested at the Washoe County Jail and transported to Carson City Jail on an outstanding warrant for failing to appear in court.

-- A 36-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 2:26 p.m. Thursday at U-Haul, 1457 S. Carson St., on suspicion of having an outstanding warrant for failing to appear in court after officers responded to the report of a suspicious person.

-- A 26-year-old Reno woman was arrested at 9:25 a.m. Thursday at the 500 block of West College Parkway on suspicion of trespassing after officers visited the apartment complex during a crime investigation.

-- A 23-year-old transient man was arrested at 12:05 a.m. Friday at the 50 block of Tiger Drive on suspicion of having two outstanding warrants for failing to complete community service and failing to appear in court after officers responded to the report of an unwanted person at the address.

-- Michael Edward Herrod, 25, of Carson City was arrested in the 500 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of two felony warrants for uttering forged instruments after officers responded to the report of an unwanted person.

-- Mathew Paul Singh, 19, of Carson City was arrested at 12:25 a.m. Thursday in the 3200 block of Highway 50, on suspicion of violating probation and being a minor consuming alcohol after officers stopped a driver for broken tail lights.

-- A 28-year-old transient man was arrested at 11:35 p.m. Wednesday at the 1100 block of Cedar Street on suspicion of having an outstanding warrant for failing to comply.
