The Nevada supreme Court Wednesday ordered one Las Vegas lawyer disbarred, suspended a second and agreed to back sanctions against a New Jersey lawyer.

Anita M. Cionni was ordered disbarred for misconduct in representing an estate. The bar association panel which handled her case found she failed to provide adequate support for her claimed fees, didn't get court approval before requiring she be paid, didn't put estate funds in a blocked account as ordered and generally left the estate's affairs in "disarray."

When called before the bar to answer accusations against her, the high court order says she failed to show up and exhibited no remorse for her conduct.

The court suspended Leslie Mark Stovall from practice after he was convicted of filing a false income tax return.

And the court agreed to join New Jersey's Supreme court in disciplining Robert Handfuss, who was suspended in that state for three months.

He was already on administrative suspension in Nevada for not complying with continuing legal education requirements.

The case against Handfuss involved two clients in a real estate transaction where he failed to record a deed, didn't pay home warranty insurance premiums on time and failed to pay tax and sewer fees. He was suspended in Nevada for the same amount of time.
