The Carson Valley Inn is celebrating the Super Bowl in a big way this year with parties in both the Cabaret Lounge and the Shannon Ballroom, plus lots of fun prizes and activities for those playing in the casino!

On Saturday and Sunday of Super Bowl weekend, the first weekend in February, INN Club members can collect drawing tickets with various payouts in slots, table games, and keno. Tickets will be drawn throughout the day from 10 a.m. to 9

p.m. on Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday. Some winners will receive a free football grid square with $250 in cash shared by the four quarter winners.

Dozens of other INN Club members will win a shot at the Inn's Armchair Quarterback fun -- a chance to throw a "nerf" football through a target television while sitting in a recliner chair. The Armchair Quarterback winner takes home a La-Z-Boy Rocker Recliner from Winans Furniture in Minden and a 25" television.

Nine runners up each receive a Super Bowl hat or t-shirt. All the

drawing tickets earned on Saturday and Sunday will go into a drum for a $1,000 cash prize, which will be drawn in the Cabaret Lounge one half hour after the conclusion of the Super Bowl. Complete promotion guidelines will be posted at the Inn Club Booth.

The Super Bowl Party in the Carson Valley Inn's Shannon Ballroom will feature an all-you-can-eat New Orleans Style sampler buffet, two drinks, big screen action, and dozens of prizes including official Bud Bowl and Super Bowl hats, sweatshirts, t-shirts, footballs and more.

This exclusive party is limited to 150 people and tickets are

available at the Inn's Gift Shop for $15. The first 100 people in the door may sign their name to a square on a free football grid with over $250 in cash prizes. On hand for questions and reminiscing will be Dan Colchico, 49ers Defensive End, 1960-66 and member of the All Time 49er team for the first 25 years.

In the Cabaret Lounge, the Inn is serving the beer and food specials that were so popular during Sunday and Monday NFL games this season:

$1.25 draft Bud and Bud Light, $6.95 pitchers (you keep the Budweiser collector's pitcher) and a variety of $1.50 munchies including deli sandwich slices, jumbo hot dogs, nachos, hot chili, giant pretzels and popcorn buckets. The Inn also be giving out free prizes, including official Bud Bowl and Super Bowl hats, t-shirts and more.

Have kids ages 4 to 12? Bring them along! While you enjoy the

playoffs, let them enjoy the Inn's supervised Kids Fun Center. It

opens at 10:30 a.m. on Saturdays and Sundays and admission is free!
