Paul Aaron Davis, 78, a Minden resident for the past seven years, died Jan. 16, 2002, at Washoe Medical Center in Reno. Mr. Davis was born Jan. 23, 1923, in Los Angeles, to Joseph and Flora Kassowitz Davis.

Before moving to Minden, he lived in Woodland Hills

Mr. Davis worked as a manufacturer's representative in the jewelry business. He was a member of the Masons and the Del Rey Yacht Club in Marina Del Ray, Calif. He was an avid fisherman. He was Jewish.

He served in the Army/Air Force during World War II.

Among his survivors are his wife of 52 years June of Minden; son and daughter-in-law Phil and Amy Davis of Cranston, R.I.; daughter and son-in-law Peggy and Horst Gerich of Minden and grandchildren Jenelle and Eric Davis and Nicole Gerich.

A private memorial service will be held.

Inurnment will be at the Fernley Veterans Cemetery in Fernley.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
