A Reno man accused of firebombing a law office here will be in court later this month.

A hearing to determine whether there is enough evidence to go forward with the charge of first-degree arson against Ricci Capirci, 54, is set for June 21 at 10 a.m. in Carson City Justice Court.

Capirci allegedly filled a plastic container with a flammable powder which he ignited and tossed onto the roof of the law office of Crowell, Susich, Owen and Tackes in the 500 block of Fourth Street.

Someone walked past the building at 5 a.m. and saw the flames which firefighters quickly knocked down. The fire caused $750 in damage.

Officers here learned of Capirci's involvment because of threats he was allegedly making in Reno via e-mail where he admitted his involvment.
