The following people were taken into custody by the Carson City jail. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.


-- Carlos Sanchez, a transient, was arrested at 12:09 p.m. Friday in the 1300 block of South Curry Street for the investigation of trafficking in a controlled susbstance, careless driving, no valid driver's license and obstructing a police officer. Six baggies containing a white powdery substance, a total of 20.5 grams, were found during subsequent searches of his person. Sanchez would not give officers his name or occupation. Bail was set at $20,000.


-- Julie Marie Price-Hagan, 37, of Carson City, a data entry worker for the state, was arrested at 8:15 a.m. Friday in the 3400 block of Imperial Way for the investigation of possession of marijuana with intent to sell, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $11,105.


-- A 23-year-old transient woodworker was arrested at 10:30 p.m. Thursday in the 3400 block of North Carson Street for petty larceny.


-- A 31-year-old Carson City concrete worker was arrested at 1:20 p.m. Thursday in the 1700 block of North Carson Street for the investigation of being an ex-felon who failed to change address.


-- A 20-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 6:31 p.m. Friday at Dan and Roop streets for the investigation of possession of a dangerous weapon and carrying a concealed weapon.
