Cover E. Bond, 81, a Carson City resident for the past 21 years, died Nov. 17, 2002, in Sparks. He was born April 11, 1921, in Virginia.
He was preceded in death by his son Lawrence.
Among his survivors are his children Louise Holle and Irene Martin, both of Phoenix, Jeff Bond of Dacono, Colo., and Melanie Rankin of Othello, Wash.; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
At his request, no service will be held.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
