A lot of local area businesses continue to help our town, and do it so quietly we never know.
One I bet you did not know about is Harley-Davidson Financial Services. I recently attended their 10th anniversary celebration and could not believe all they have contributed to in Carson City.
Here are just a few of the organizations and programs they have helped:
Advocates To End Domestic Violence, Boys & Girls Club of Western Nevada, Western Nevada Community College, FISH, Citizens For Affordable Housing, Carson City Jaycees, the Susan G. Koman Race For the Cure and Carson City School District's Homeless Program.
It's nice to know if you buy a Harley, your purchase helps our community.

Help needed: Sponsor an entire Thanksgiving meal for a needy family. Kiwanis members deliver the meals to the family.

Dec. 2: SBC Telecom Pioneers Book Drive teams up with several local businesses and schools to help after-school reading clubs. The St. Benedict Society of Corpus Christi Church's food drive. More information on the Toys For Tots Program.
