The Carson Senator Midgets Pop Warner football team fell to 2-1 in an 18-0 loss to the Wolf Pack.

The Senator defense played well with outstanding performances coming from Brooks Greenlee, Tyson Curran and Steven Peters. Greenlee had a huge night with 15 tackles, one sack and one forced fumble. He had 10 tackles in the first half.

Peters, who played both ways, was in on 11 tackles, including six solo tackles. Wes Reddick was in on nine tackles, including six solo tackles.

Frisco Merrill, Mike McBroom, Scott Pierce, Tony Roberts, Kyle Churchley and Sean Christensen also played well defensively. The Wolf Pack controlled the clock as its offense had the ball for most of the game.

The Senators were led offensively by the running of Chris McBroom and Travis Lamborn. Spencer Van Dyke also combined with Chris McBroom for 45 yards of passing. In addition, the offensive line of Daniel Cunningham, Justin Shinn, Tim Peters, Blake Anderson and Rob Valerius played well.

Rich Norgrove, Austin Bartosz and Johnny Kim also played well for Carson, which will host the Reno Bulldogs on Friday.
