A gathering for family and friends of Crystal Dawn Hoy, 23, a Carson City resident for the past 12 years, will be from 2-3:30 p.m. Tuesday at the First Christian Church.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Tuesday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley.
Ms. Hoy died April 12, 2003, at Carson-Tahoe Hospital. She was born July 24, 1979, in Crescent City, to Arthur Allen and Rose Gaddis Hoy.
Ms. Hoy was a cashier. She loved the ocean, the outdoors and spending time with her sisters.
She was preceded in death by her son Michael Jacoby in 1997.
Among her survivors are her mother, Rose Koontz of Carson City; stepfather, Kevin Alexander of Carson City; father, Arthur Allen Hoy of Crescent City; son Jordan Jacoby of Carson City; daughters Maryann Jacoby of Crescent City and Ilona Jacoby of Carson City; brother, Bobby Berg of Crescent City; sisters Sarah Johnson of Crescent City, Dorene Koontz of Lakeview, Ore., and Angela Koontz of Carson City.
Capitol City Cremation & Burial Society is in charge of arrangements.
