Lillian E. Wood, 88, a Carson City resident for more than 20 years, died April 23, 2003, in Carson City. She was born May 13, 1914, in Fresno, Calif., to William F. and Frieda Louise Lieser Vogel.
She graduated from high school and completed five years of college.
She married Dr. Eugene Wood.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Fresno.
Mrs. Wood was a school teacher and later worked in the office of her husband, an oral surgeon.
Among her survivors are her husband of Carson City; and children Scott Wood of Reno and Mary Hilliker of Mi-Wuk Village, Calif.
Cremation will be at Walton's Sierra Crematory.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
