Obituary: Audree Ellen Fjerdingstad

Audree Ellen Fjerdingstad, a 16-year resident of Silver Springs died April 24, 2003 in Carson City.

She was born Sept. 16, 1929 in Hollywood, Calif., to Frederick J. and Christine Reykdal Tompkins. She was 73.

Mrs. Fjerdingstad was a veterinarian assistant, dog groomer, horseback rider and bird watcher who loved animals.

She lived in Ridgecrest, Calif., prior to moving to Silver Springs.

Among her survivors are her husband David D. of Silver Springs; daughter Barbara Runyon of Carpinteria, Calif.; brother Frederick E. Tompkins of Fernley; grandchildren Debbie Rice and Hymie Runyon and great-granddaughter Chantell Rice.

Burial will be at the Silver Springs Cemetery.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
