Gunman holds up Country Store

An armed robber made off with an undisclosed amount of cash from the Country Store in the 3300 block of Highway 50 East, police said Tuesday.

According to the report, a cashier activated an alarm near the register and told police a man held up the store with a gun at about 9:30 p.m. Saturday.

The suspect is described as a white male adult in his 20s with short brown hair and light facial hair, wearing a black shirt with the number "71" on it, blue jeans and a black hat with red lettering.

He was last seen leaving the area in a 1997 or 1998 dark blue, full-size Ford truck with matching camper shell.
