Obituary: Raye Johnson

A memorial service for Raye Johnson, 73, a Carson City resident for the past 27 years, will be held at the Galt Lutheran Church in Galt, Calif.

Mrs. Johnson died Aug. 19, 2003, in Carson City. She was born Dec. 3, 1929, in Manhattan, N.Y. and was raised in Coney Island, N.Y.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gus.

Among her survivors are her son and daughter-in-law Michael and Mary of Ensenada, Mexico; daughter and son-in-law Rebecca and Craig Reasoner of Carson City; grandchildren Michael, Scott, Robby, Nicci, Elizabeth, Jason, Donnie and Michelle and great-grandchildren Naomi and Skylar.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
