Champion racing set for Saturday

This Saturday night Fun Jumpers and Economy Speed Press will present the second annual Crazy Tie Nite.


All race fans that arrive sporting a crazy necktie or bowtie will get a buck off at the gate. The top 10 ties will also receive a special limited edition Coors Light Racing shirt.


On the dance card will be the Western Modifieds, Limited Late Models, Legends, Bandoleros, and those always ultra-crazed Hustlin' Hornets.


Fun Jumpers Earnhardt Memorial Park will feature the Ponderosa Stamp & Engraving kids bicycle races and the bounce house pavilion.


Showing live at all five Thunder Theater locations will be the ARCA RE/MAX stock cars from Winchester, followed by the USAC Silver Crown sprint cars from Nazareth.


The pits open at 3 p.m., front gates open at 5 p.m., and the show starts at 7 p.m.


Adults are $9, Seniors (55 and over) and military (with photo ID) are $7, teens (13-18) are $5, juniors (6-12) are $3 and kids (5 and under) are free. Event parking is also free.
