A celebration of life for Louise Clark Linn, 88, a Yerington resident for the past 51 years, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Just Like Home, 426 Pearl St., Yerington.

Mrs. Linn died Dec. 6, 2003, at South Lyon Medical Center Long Term Care in Yerington. She was born March 12, 1915, in Champlain, N.Y., to Harry Guy and Esther Bredenberg Clark.

She married William Linn in 1939. They moved to Yerington in 1952, where he was pastor of the Community Church from 1952 to 1958. She remained active in local and regional church work for many years after his death in 1961.

Mrs. Linn worked as a secretary and an eligibility worker for the Nevada State Welfare Department for more than 20 years, beginning in 1950.

Among her survivors are her son and daughter-in-law, William J. and Candice Linn of Lakewood, Calif.; brother and sister-in-law, L. Scott and Belle Clark of Utica, N.Y.; and nieces Catherine Clark of Oswego, N.Y., and Joanne Clark of Baldwinsville, N.Y.

Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
