Annemay Oliver, 72, a Carson City resident for the past 47 years, died Dec. 14, 2003, in Carson City. She was born Jan. 5, 1931, in Toledo, Ohio, to Charles Oliver and Georgeann Svoboda.

She married Lawrence I. Oliver Jr. He preceded her in death in 1999.

Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Richmond, Calif.

Mrs. Oliver was head of the medical records department for Carson-Tahoe Hospital for more than 25 years, retiring in 1985. She was a member of the Canvasback Gun Club in Fallon. She enjoyed knitting and crafts.

Among her survivors are her daughters Sally Brown Bliss of Carson City, Virginia Young of Challis, Idaho, Christine Lund of Sparks and Donna Biagio of Marysville, Wash.; brother, William Oliver of Sabin, Minn.; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Cremation will be at Walton's Sierra Crematory.

At her request, there will be no service.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
