Carson girls fall in tough tournament

The Carson girls basketball team ended up going 0-3 at the tough Nike Tournament of Champions in Chandler, Ariz., losing to Southern California power Milliken. Carson couldn't overcome a slow star as it fell behind 14-3 after one quarter.

Ciarra Christian scored eight points, Rachel Winters, Andrea Hoff and Liz Rankl all scored six points and Katie Kotter added five points for Carson.
