A service for Dovie E. Quinton, 81, a Carson City resident for the past year, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley.
Visitation will be from noon-5 p.m. today.
Mrs. Quinton died Dec. 21, 2003, in Carson City. She was born June 19, 1922, in Coweta, Okla., to Noah and Daisy Dykes Brooks.
She married Harvey J. Quinton Jan. 22, 1940, in Coweta.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Mesa, Ariz., for many years.
Mrs. Quinton was a homemaker.
Among her survivors are her husband of Carson City; sons and daughters-in-law Don and Audra and David and Barbara; daughter and son-in-law, Shirley and Larry Gibson; sisters Mary Blair, Esther Bailey and Lorraine Brooks; brothers Plas Brooks and Nute Brooks; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Cremation will be at Walton's Sierra Crematory.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
