Lester Dale Lawson died on Dec. 25, 2003, at home in Silver Springs, Nev. He was 69.

Mr. Lawson was born on April 13, 1934, in Sacramento, Calif. He had lived in Silver Springs since 1974.

He worked as a carpenter and served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.

His interests included hunting, fishing, boating, NASCAR racing and the Dallas Cowboys. He was an avid country music fan.

Mr. Lawson was preceded in death by his parents and son Shawn.

He is survived by his wife, June; twin sons Daryl and Darwin Lawson; son Tim Resner; sisters Barbara and Dorothy; brothers George, Linvel and Bill; and several grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are being made by Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home in Yerington, Nev.
