Sheriff's blotter

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty:

- A 42-year-old Carson City salesman was arrested at 12:40 a.m. Thursday in the 1400 block of South Carson Street on a misdemeanor warrant out of Tahoe Township for battery, suspicion of misdemeanor driving with a fictitious registration and no insurance. Bail was set at $1,839.

- A 25-year-old Carson City hardware store employee was arrested at 3:20 a.m. Thursday in the 500 block of West College Parkway on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery. Bail was set at $1,632.

- Patrick R. Smith, a 20-year-old transient tile setter, was arrested at 11:26 p.m. Wednesday in the 1000 block of South Carson Street on suspicion of felony battery with a deadly weapon, misdemeanor obstructing and a misdemeanor warrant for failure to appear in court. Bail was set at $30,825.

- A 32-year-old Carson City man of unknown employment was arrested at 1:45 a.m. Thursday in the 1100 block of South Nevada Street on misdemeanor suspicion of domestic battery, simple battery, ex-felon failure to change address and violation of a suspended sentence. Bail was set at $7,414.

- A 22-year-old Carson City man of unknown employment was arrested at 3 a.m. Thursday in the 500 block of West College Parkway on suspicion of misdemeanor disorderly conduct. Bail was set at $247.

- A 49-year-old, of unknown employment, Carson City man was arrested at 9:03 p.m. Wednesday on the corner of East Fifth and Stewart Streets on suspicion of misdemeanor failure to maintain lane, basic speed, first-offense driving under the influence, driving on a revoked license, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $4,200.

- A 30-year-old Dayton construction worker was arrested at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday on the Lyon County line on a misdemeanor warrant out of Carson for failure to comply. A cash-only bail was set at $1,000.

- A 47-year-old plumber from Castro Valley, Calif. was arrested at 7:38 p.m. Wednesday in the 3800 block of East Highway 50 on misdemeanor suspicion of disorderly conduct and trespassing. Bail was set at $474.

- A 37-year-old, unemployed Carson City man was arrested at 9:20 a.m. Wednesday in the 100 block of Corbett Street on a misdemeanor warrant out of Carson for failure to comply. A cash-only bail was set at $170.

- A 29-year-old, unemployed Carson City woman was arrested at 9:20 a.m. Wednesday in the 100 block of Corbett Street on a misdemeanor warrant out of Carson for failure to comply. A cash-only bail was set at $290.

- Angie Rose Koontz, a 19-year-old, unemployed Carson City woman, was arrested at 7:49 a.m. Wednesday in the 500 block of East William Street on suspicion of felony possession of methamphetemines, possession of drug paraphernalia and petty larceny. Bail was set at $2,500.

- A 51-year-old Carson City carpenter was arrested at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in the 1800 block of North Carson Street on a misdemeanor warrant out of Carson for failure to comply. A cash-only bail was set at $3,000.
