The race for the final two spots into the Northern 3A playoffs is wide open. Yerington fell to 4-1 in league play and would likely need an upset today against Manogue to qualify for the playoffs.
Dayton led 20-16 after one quarter and 29-20 at halftime before extending its lead to 52-31 after three quarters. The Dust Devils had four players in double figures as Brian Lahmann scored 18 points, Jake Deen had 13 points, Adam Diament had 11 points and Matt Bowman added 10 points.
Wes Thomas scored 19 points and John Little added 13 points for Yerington.
