Here are a number of upcoming closures in the Nevada hunting, trapping and fishing worlds:

-- Feb. 28 -- Closing day of the 2002-2003, Nevada, cottontail, pygmy and white-tailed jackrabbit hunting season in all 17 counties.

-- Feb. 28 -- Closing day of the 2002-2003, Nevada, trapping season for Kit Fox and Red Fox.

-- Feb. 28 -- Closing day of the 2002-2003, Nevada, trapping season for Bobcat and Gray Fox.

-- Feb. 28 -- Closing day of the 2002-2003, Nevada, fishing season at Big Springs Reservoir in Northern Humboldt County.
