Obituary: Anthony Jarome Maes

A memorial service for Anthony Jarome Maes, 48, a Carson City resident for the past 12 years, will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Silver Hills Church in Carson City.

Mr. Maes died Jan. 6, 2003, in Carson City. He was born May 17, 1954, in Monte Vista, Colo., to Jose P. and Frances E. Garcia Maes.

Before moving to Carson City, he lived in Stockton, Calif.

He married Sharon Foust.

Mr. Maes was delivery driver for an appliance business. He was a member of the Born To Die Christian Motorcycle Ministry in Carson City. He was a volunteer at Friends In Service Helping and involved in many activities associated with the Born To Die Ministry.

Among his survivors are: wife Sharon; daughters Victoria and Anissa, of Carson City; sisters Josie Drewery and Theresa A. Hill and brothers Michael and Chris, all of California; and five grandchildren.

Cremation will be at Walton's Sierra Crematory.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
