Douglas High School graduate Chris Griffith will represent UCLA in the second annual Paradise Bowl all-star football game Saturday in St. George, Utah.

The game kicks off at 11 a.m. (MST) at Hansen Stadium at Dixie College. It is scheduled to be broadcast live or tape delayed Saturday on the Fox Sports Network in the West, Midwest and Southwest regions.

Griffith, a 1998 Douglas graduate, was selected as a kicker and one of four UCLA players on the West squad. Griffith had a successful four-year career in which he finished as one of the school's all-time leading kickers.

At Douglas, Griffith played quarterback and compiled a record of 22-6 as a starter, passing for 847 yards as a junior and 1,557 yards and 13 touchdowns for the Tigers during his senior season.

The Paradise Bowl will showcase seniors from the West against players from the Midwest.
