Obituary: Carolyn Clodius

Carolyn Clodius, 73, a Carson City resident for the past four years and former resident of South Lake Tahoe for many years, died Jan. 22, 2003, at home. She was born Jan. 6, 1930, in California to John and Veda Cross Hinmon.

While living at South Lake Tahoe, Mrs. Clodius worked at the El Dorado County Library. She was an executive secretary for the Retail Clerks Union while living in Buena Park, Calif., retiring in 1979 after more than 20 years.

She was a past member of the Eastern Star. She was an avid reader and loved music, playing the piano and singing. She also loved her cats. She enjoyed chatting with friends and family on her computer. She was very artistic and enjoyed painting.

She was preceded in death by brothers Jim, Harry and Richard Hinmon.

Among her survivors are her daughters Cynthia Warren of Manteca, Calif., and Deborah Bisel of South Lake Tahoe; granddaughter, Geneva Bisel of South Lake Tahoe; sister, Myra Robinson of Sun City, Calif.; and brothers Tom Hinmon of Roseville, Calif., and John Hinmon of Hemet, Calif.

No service is scheduled at this time.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
