The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

-- A 32-year-old, male office clerk from Carson City was arrested at 9 p.m. Thursday on the corner of Saliman Road and Fairview Drive on misdemeanor suspicion of first-offense driving under the influence and speeding. Bail was set at $1,230.

-- A 45-year-old unemployed Dayton man was arrested at 7:13 p.m. Thursday in the 7700 block E. Highway 50 on a misdemeanor warrant for failure to appear in court on a traffic violation. A cash-only bail was set at $800.

-- A 39-year-old Carson City machinist was arrested at 6:45 p.m. Thursday in the 400 block of Sandalwood Drive on misdemeanor suspicion of first-offense domestic battery, possession of drug paraphernalia and ex-felon failure to register. Bail was set at $4,520.

-- A 51-year-old unemployed transient was arrested at 12:49 p.m. Thursday in the 2100 N. Carson Street on misdemeanor suspicion of first-offense driving under the influence, open container, driving with a suspended registration and a misdemeanor warrant out of Incline Justice Court for non-sufficient funds. Bail was set at $1,545.
