Sarah Horton, 96, a Carson City resident for the past several years and former South Lake Tahoe resident, died July 2, 2003, at Nevada Cares in Carson City. She was born Oct. 12, 1906, in Indiana to George and Myrtle Holder Jenkins.
Mrs. Horton was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James D. Sr. and son James D. Jr.
Among her survivors are her son George of Carson City and daughter, Audrey Mae.
A service will be in Santa Ana, Calif.
Burial will be at Fairhaven Cemetery in Santa Ana.
FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
