A funeral Mass for Irene E. Crouse, 88, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Holy Family Catholic Church with burial in the family plot of Valley View Cemetery.
A rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Sunday at the Holy Family Catholic Church.
Mrs. Crouse died July 16, 2003, at the South Lyon Medical Center in Yerington.
She was born Oct. 18, 1914, in Ellinwood, Kan., to Henry and Rose Malone Schmidt.
She married Mervin Crouse in Russel Springs, Kan., and they moved to Bishop, Calif., in 1941 and then to Weed Heights in 1952.
Mrs. Crouse was a talented seamstress. She was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church St. Ann's Guild and a past member of the Hospital Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by her husband and children Greg, Margaret Greathouse, Teri Bucher and Lois Blanton.
Among her survivors are her children and spouses Myrna and Frank McGowan, Cindy and Willie Booth of Yerington, Carol and Paul Turner of Fallon, Mark Crouse of Carson City, Norma and Leroy Sacchini of Bakersfield, Calif., Dwight and Doris Crouse of Sheridan, Wyo., and Kathy Crouse of Cairo, Egypt, 37 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
