Obituary: Malcolm W. Seibert

A memorial service for Malcolm W. Seibert, 75, a Silver Springs resident for the past 11 years, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Faith Baptist Church in Silver Springs.

Mr. Seibert died July 14, 2003, at his home. He was born Aug. 9, 1927, in Madera, Calif., to Elbie and Hazel Parker Seibert.

Mr. Seibert was a mechanic and worked in the sheet rock manufacturing industry. He loved the A's baseball team.

He served in the U.S. Army.

Among his survivors are his son and daughter-in-law Michael and Theresa of Mississippi; daughter and son-in-law Jean and Bill Snyder Sr. of Silver Springs; brothers Bill and Gene, both of Fresno; sister Karen Pitts of Oregon and grandchildren Billy, Joe and Mylissa Snyder, all of Silver Springs.

Inurnment will be at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Fernley.

Capitol City Cremation & Burial Society is in charge of arrangements.
