Carson City's streets department will begin making road repairs and start maintenance projects Thursday.
Crews will apply chip seal, an oil inlaid with rock, then sealant to the following streets Thursday:
-- Bigelow Drive from Clearview Drive to the end of the street;
-- Morgan Mill Road from Empire Ranch Road to Empire Ranch Road East, 3,166 feet;
-- the full length of Darla Way.
Work will begin at 7 a.m. Residents who live on the streets are advised to park on side streets as cars will not be allowed to drive on the streets until work is complete in late afternoon.
