The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.


-- A 20-year-old Gardnerville tile setter was arrested at 1:13 a.m. Saturday in the parking lot of Urgent Care on South Carson Street on misdemeanor suspicion of first-offense driving under influence and minor consuming alcohol. Bail was set at $1,370.


-- A transient parking lot attendant of unknown age was arrested at 12:53 a.m. Saturday on the corner of Snyder Avenue and California Street on a misdemeanor warrant out of Carson City for contempt of court and a misdemeanor warrant out of East Fork for contempt of court. A cash-only bail was set at $5,000.


-- Deanna Pepper, an unemployed Carson City woman, was arrested at 8:15 p.m. Friday in the 3300 block of Otha Street on felony suspicion of possession of stolen property. Bail was set at $25,000.


-- Gary Lee Owen, a 42-year-old Carson City mechanic, was arrested at 5:32 p.m. Friday in the 3300 block of Otha Street on felony suspicion of possession of stolen property. Bail was set at $25,000.


-- A 22-year-old Carson City laborer was arrested at 6:32 p.m. Friday in the 3300 block of East Fifth Street on misdemeanor suspicion of first-offense driving under the influence, reckless driving, hit and run and open container. Bail was set at $3,083.


-- A 32-year-old Carson City laborer was arrested at 10:53 p.m. Friday in the 2000 block of Lone Mountain Drive on misdemeanor suspicion of domestic battery. Bail was set at $3,132.


-- A 26-year-old Riverside, Calif., man of unknown employment was arrested at 9:11 p.m. Friday at Carson-Tahoe Hospital on a misdemeanor warrant out of Carson for failure to complete community service, misdemeanor warrant out of Storey County for disturbing the peace and a misdemeanor warrant out of Storey County for failure to pay fines. A cash-only bail was set at $7,040.


-- A 26-year-old, unemployed Carson City man was arrested at 1:40 p.m. Friday on the corner of Lompa Lane and Long Street on misdemeanor suspicion of injury to a motor vehicle. Bail was set at $347.


-- A 48-year-old transient cable installer was arrested at 12:10 p.m. Friday on the corner of Menlo and Lassen drives on a misdemeanor warrant out of Carson for failure to appear in court. A cash-only bail was set at $1,000.
