The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.


-- A 21-year-old male construction worker from Carson City was arrested at 6:10 a.m. Saturday in the 600 block of Division Street on two misdemeanor warrants out of Carson City for failure to pay. A cash-only bail was set at $542.


-- An 18-year-old male laborer from Carson City was arrested at 4:30 a.m. Saturday on the corner of Briarwood and Silver Sage drives on misdemeanor suspicion of careless driving and first-offense driving under influence. Bail was set at $1,315.


-- A 23-year-old female respite worker from Carson City was arrested at 2:59 a.m. Saturday on the corner of Florentine and Siskiyou drives on two misdemeanor warrants out of Carson City. Bail was set at $596.


-- Gerald Francis Welch, an unemployed Carson City man, was arrested at 3:32 p.m. Friday on the corner of Carson and William streets on felony suspicion of eluding police, a misdemeanor warrant and misdemeanor suspicion of reckless driving. Bail was set at $25,605.


-- A 33-year-old, self-employed Carson City man was arrested at 9:33 a.m. Friday in the 1400 block of North Carson Street on misdemeanor suspicion of disorderly conduct. Bail was set at $210.
