The Feather River Community College baseball team improved to 14-4 by sweeping a three-game series against Butte over the weekend.
Feather River defeated Butte 9-0, 6-1 and 11-4. The team features several local players, including Carson High's Tim Priess, Galena's Bryon Cragg and Rich Cummins, Douglas High's Tommy Hoyle and Cal Lewis and Fernley's Tyler Selden.
The Golden Eagles will next play at home at 2 p.m. Friday and in a doubleheader on Saturday, beginning at noon all against Shasta.
